Berg's dual purpose oil filler and breather box for the VW air cooled engine includes internal baffles that separate the oil from the air and automatically return the oil back into the engine, providing a clean leak free installation. Black powder coated finish for years of service. The upright, easy fill, top mounted cap makes oil filling a breeze. Available for the most popular configurations. One or both air cleaners can be connected on dual carbs with a "T" to provide full vacuuming and still utilizes the standard VW oil filler cap. The domestic breather cap model is for engines without air cleaners. Breather boxes with push on fittings use the stock VW breather hose GB 263B. Other combinations can be special ordered, even with AN-6 hose connections. Full payment is required in advance and are only made with production runs. This may take up to 3 months from the time you place your order. Simple to install!! No holes to drill. Just remove the original VW filler that is held on by the internal nut with GB 753 tool. Install the mounting adapter with its gasket. Be sure the alignment/support pin is located into the (genuine VW) generator or alternator stand tooling hole. It will not fit after market stands. Install the seal around the nut and bolt on the Gene Berg breather box with the 2 furnished lock nuts, align the box and tighten. All are black powder painted. These are the most sanitary units ever offered for a VW engine. Completely self contained and stay with the engine when it is necessary to R&R.
