For a successful re-ring function, the cylinders must be properly honed and be within an acceptable wear limit. Pistons must be glass beaded, or cleaned by a similar process to clean the ring lands without enlarging the grooves.
Because piston ring widths change from time to time even with the same bore, manufacturer and if you bought the P/C set from us, we have no way to determine or keep track of what you actually have. It is your responsibility to check your bore size and ring width combination to assure you get the proper rings the first time.
Note: It is your responsibility to tell us what the ring widths are on your pistons when ordering regardless of where you purchased the P/C's or what brand they are. Please measure the widths, look up and order by part number.
