These are stock VW gland nuts cut from the underside to provide the same thread area when used with our GB 200 Berg heavy-duty washer. The stock nut provides more than adequate support to hold the flywheel onto the crank for street driving when the crank to flywheel dowel job is done correctly (see about doweling in the crank section). For drag race use, the crank and flywheel should be wedgemated and all out street engines without wedgemate should use a GB 202F HD gland nut and our HD washer. (SEE ALLOY STEEL GLAND NUT section). |
