The Holley regulators we list are true regulators and not simply restrictive devices like most. Restrictive types simply reduce the size of the hole smaller and smaller until little volume can get through. Never, consider anything other than the Holley type unless they have been verified as "not being a restrictive type" that reduces flow even more. All of the restrictive types I tested actually allowed less flow than the stock pump did when turned down to 1-3/4 pounds of pressure. The most common of these are normally chrome plated with a red/blue dial on them. Never use that type of regulator. |
