Have you previously purchased a Berg shifter and now want to add the locker? Send it to us with all pieces (just as it was shipped to you) including the shift gate and we will retro fit the locker parts to the one you previously purchased. Just specify this part number; ADD-RETRO which is the charge to install the locker to your previously purchased Berg steel shaft shifter. We do not sell this part individually as we must install it and hand fit all the parts in our plant.
Note 1: Have more than one VW? Need more than one locker keyed alike? Gene Berg has it all! Just let us know when placing your order. Both must be ordered together so we can assemble them with keyed alike locks.
Note 2: Our security agreement. To protect you, we do not supply replacement keys if you lose yours, nor will we sell a new lock separately. When you purchase a Berg locker it is your responsibility to make any spare keys needed.
If you need a new lock you must return your shifter with a copy of your original invoice from when you purchased the locker. No invoice, no new lock.

It is mandatory that you supply this documentation to the new owner if you sell your car or the Berg locker. Some people think this is unfair, however, we are interested in protecting your investment as much as possible. We will do our part so make sure you do your part and keep a spare key in a safe place.
