I invented the forerunner to this tool in 1968 so I could get the gears off counterweighted crankshafts that would not fit between my press beams. It evolved to this design in 1972. It provides a way for the person to remove the timing gears when they do not have a press or one that will not clear a counterweight. This is the way we remove all of the gears from the hundreds of cores we make into GB 188's each year. |
