And not just bugs. It is interesting that we continue to have people tell us what is considered to be a starter problem when in fact it is not. When I worked for the dealer in 1961, I was confronted with the first "BUG" in the electrical system of the vehicle and later other cars.
When I tried to start the car, the red/green lights would be on, however, when I turned the key to engage the starter nothing would occur. The lights would dim slightly but the starter would not spin the engine or even make a sound (no solenoid click). My personal 1961 sedan suffered from this "BUG" (problem) in 1961 and the starter was replaced on warranty, all to no avail, as not long after the replacement, it did it again.
