Set end play on crank to flywheel. Install the flywheel and properly torque the gland nut. This is done after you have assembled the short block. We can also perform this function with the engine apart for those of you that do not have a way to do it at home. We clean the crank, oil and mark the bearing at the split lines for easy installation into the case when you get it home. We install the bearing, set the end play, clean and lube the bearing in the nut, Loctite the nut/washer to crankshaft and properly torque. We then put the crankshaft in a plastic bag to keep clean until you receive it and are ready to install it in the block. Price plus shims, seal, etc.
