Two different friction materials with a Marcel spring provide the best of both worlds. Small composition pads of our GB 103 lining are bonded to one side and a special composite space age carbon type material on the other side provides the slight slipping action to reduce shock and yet provides almost instant recovery if slipped. With the Marcel in the center, a perfectly smooth engagement is made for street application and the space age material and pads provide consistent hook-up day after day. Ideal for dual purpose street, "occasional" trips to the drag races and normal offroad applications. VW disc modified in USA by Gene Berg Enterprises and Bill Hays. GB 104 200mm Solid dual friction disc GB 104A 200mm Spring hub disc The higher performance engines should use solid a hub disc, as they are much stronger. GB 104 and GB 104A are not for drag race use. For drag race applications use GB 101, 102 or 103.
